Brooklyn born Paulina Cataldo has been performing and training as a dancer from a very young age in various of styles including pointe, modern, contemporary, ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, lyrical and hip hop. During her years at the Vicky Simegiatos Performing Arts Center she performed half time for Madison Square Garden for New York Liberty basketball team and danced alongside New York City principal dancers in VSDC’s Nutcracker production. She has performed works by Yesid Lopez, Matina Simegiatos, Despina Simegiatos, Caitlin Gray, Latrice Gregory, Braham Logan Crane and Ginger Cox. She has won overall awards and titles at various nationwide dance competitions. She has also performed alongside world renowned recording artists and DJs across the country. After graduating from LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, Paulina pursued a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She worked hand and hand with buyers from Macy’s, West Elm, Adidas and Fila. Paulina always had a passion for working with children. She started teaching dance intensive in New Jersey and went back to school to excel in a second degree in early childhood education/special education. She is excited to be back as a returning teacher and cannot wait to use her creative side to work with the students.
